<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact and a connector capable of effectively absorbing a displacement from a counterpart connector. <P>SOLUTION: The contact 50 used for a connector 10 mounted on a circuit board 2 is provided with a contact part 51 contacting with a counterpart contact 30, a lead part 52 connected with the circuit board 2, and a connection part 53 for connecting the contact part 51 and the lead part 52. The connection part 53 is composed of at least two leaf springs 54, 55.
