<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polypropylene microparticles having≤50μm maximum particle diameter, narrow in particle size distribution range and spherical, and to provide spherical microparticles with unsmooth particle surface, e.g., usable for a facial scrub and useful as an abrasive. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of polypropylene microparticles, comprising a raw material propylene solution preparing step of adding a raw material polypropylene to an aliphatic hydrocarbon compound solution, an alicyclic hydrocarbon compound solution or a mixture thereof, heating at a temperature higher than the melting point of the raw material polypropylene to dissolve so as to obtain the raw material polypropylene solution, and a deposition step of cooling the raw material polypropylene solution to deposit polypropylene microparticles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
