PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer dispersed type liquid crystal device having excellent adhesion to a film substrate, maintaining cloudiness even when bent, and drivable at a low voltage, and to provide a liquid crystal composition used therefor. SOLUTION: There is provided the liquid crystal composition for the polymer dispersed type liquid crystal device containing at least one kind of liquid crystal compound represented by general formula (I-1): R<SP>1</SP>-A<SP>1</SP>-Z<SP>1</SP>-A<SP>2</SP>-Z<SP>2</SP>-A<SP>3</SP>-Z<SP>3</SP>-A<SP>4</SP>-R<SP>2</SP>(wherein, each symbol is particularly defined) as a first component; at least one kind of non-liquid crystalline polymerizable compound represented by general formula (II-1): CH<SB>2</SB>=C(-X<SP>1</SP>)-COO-Z<SP>4</SP>-A<SP>5</SP>(wherein, each symbol is particularly defined) as a second component; at least one kind of multifunctional urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer as a third component; and at least one kind of photopolymerization initiator as a fourth component. There are provided a dimming film using the composition for the polymer dispersed type liquid crystal display device, and dimming glass obtained by sandwiching the dimming film with two glass substrates.
