PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the heat shrinkage behavior of a film, capable of accurately measuring the heat shrinkage behavior of the film when heating the film. SOLUTION: In the method for measuring the heat shrinkage behavior of the film being the method for measuring the heat shrinkage behavior of the film when heating of the film, heat-resistant particles are adhered to the film 10 to apply a pattern 15 having a predetermined shape to the film 10 and this pattern 15 is arranged on a support plate 34 while the film 10 is heated according to a predetermined temperature history to measure the deformation of the pattern 15. By this constitution, the heat shrinkage behavior of the film can accurately be investigated by measuring the deformation way of the pattern 15. Further, the pattern 15 is applied to the film by the heat-resistant particles, thereby the pattern 15 becomes hard to thermally decompose when heating of the film and can clearly be discriminated even after the heating of the film.
