摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve run-out accuracy of a rotor fixed on a housing of an axis fix type fluid dynamic bearing device easily at low cost. SOLUTION: An outer circumference surface 7b (fixing surface 7b1) of the housing 7 is formed as a cutting surface on a basis of an inner circumference surface 8a of a bearing sleeve 8. Dimension error (uneven wall thickness) of the bearing sleeve 8 and the housing 7, and assembly error of the bearing sleeve 8 and the housing 7 are canceled by cutting of the housing 7 thereby. Consequently, run-out accuracy of the outer circumference surface 7b of the housing 7 to the inner circumference surface 8a of the bearing sleeve 8 is improved without increasing machining accuracy of the bearing sleeve 8 and the housing 7 and fixing accuracy of both more than necessary.
