PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device which can stabilize a clutch-off state, even when a clutch yoke is cantilever-supported. SOLUTION: The clutch device 25 of the spinning reel has the first clutch engaging portion 44, the second clutch engaging portion 48, and a clutch control mechanism 62. The first clutch engaging portion 44 is disposed in a pinion gear 36. The second clutch engaging portion 48 is disposed in a spool 13, and is integrally rotatably engaged with the first clutch engaging portion 44. The clutch control mechanism 62 has a clutch cam 70 and a clutch yoke 71, and the clutch cam 70 is rotated in interlock with the swinging of a clutch lever 20. The clutch yoke 71 transfers the pinion gear 36 from a clutch-on position to a clutch-off position by the rotation of the clutch cam 70.
