The present invention relates to a thrust foil air bearing having improved load capacity. According to the present invention, a ramp (990) of a top foil (900) of a thrust plate air bearing has a curvature, the center point (O) of which is formed below the ramp (990), and the ramp (990) is arranged to horizontally contact a first bump (81) of a bump foil (80), thereby improving the overall air pressure of the bearing and thus improving load capacity. |
