The method involves providing square-wave voltage pulses of alternative polarity to a coil of a vibrating device of a portable object, in a periodical oscillation maintenance phase of a movable mass of the device, by a driving circuit. The pulse width is modulated during oscillation periods to define a sinusoidal voltage wave (SF) having a predetermined amplitude and fundamental frequency adapted to a resonance frequency of the mass. |
