The wiper blade wear indicator (1) has an electronic radiation sensor (2), where the measurements of the radiation sensor are provided by the wiper blade wear indicator. The radiation sensor is a light sensor. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining the condition of a wiper rubber of a wiper blade.
