PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic view finder with an external stroboscope, which is compact and convenient. SOLUTION: The electronic view finder 20 with the stroboscope is constituted of a finder unit 21 and a stroboscopic light emission unit 23 and includes a liquid crystal display panel, an eyepiece optical system and a housing 22 provided with a mounting part 24 which is freely removably inserted into a hot shoe 14, and an insert connector 25 which is inserted into a socket 15, and the mounting part 24 is inserted into the hot shoe 14 of a camera 10 from a back side and mounted on the upper portion of the camera 10. The stroboscopic light emission unit 23 is freely turnably mounted on the upper portion of the finder unit 21 by a hinge part 27, so that the direction of a light-emitting part 26 can be adjusted. The insert connector 25 is inserted into the socket 15 accompanied with an operation for inserting the mounting part 24 into the hot shoe 14, and the electrical connection of the finder unit 21 and the stroboscopic light emission unit 23 with the camera 10 is carried out.
