We have coupled a Turbine to the driveshaft or axle on an electric vehicle. The driveshaft or axle has a fixed outer shell and a moving rotating component which rotates when the vehicle is in motion. The Turbine has an outer mechanism which remains static and fixed in location, while the inner components of the Turbine rotate with the rotating component of the driveshaft or axle. This will create electric current. Two further main elements are a transformer to create some voltage as the battery has to power the vehicle, and a voltage regulator to regulate the voltage needed to be put back into the battery as the voltage is used to power the vehicle. Any type of Turbine can be used. The turbine further comprises an internal air cooling system.
