PURPOSE: Glass-panel polishing system and method are provided to increase the flatness of a glass panel by absorbing vibration in polishing since the same power is transferred to different parts of a polishing flatter to a fixing flatter through a plurality of air springs. CONSTITUTION: A glass-panel polishing system comprises a lower unit, a pair of head assemblies(120), and a moving unit. The lower unit rotates a fixed glass panel. The head assemblies make contact with the glass panel and rotate. The moving unit moves the head assemblies in a horizontal direction. Two or more heads(H) of the head assemblies can independently rotate.
