<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gusset bag with a flap enabling more applications and a wide range of use by including a flap fitted to the large opening of the gusset bag, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A bag body 1 where gussets 4 are formed at both left and right side surfaces is arranged. The flap 5 arranged at the opening of the bag body 1 and openably/closably fitted to the opening is arranged. The gusset bag with the flap includes a header part 3A extended above an upper end of a front side surface 2 at the rear side surface 3 of the bag body 1. The flap 5 covering an area from the opening to the front side surface 2 is arranged at the front surface of the header 3A.
