PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery and battery module, capable of reducing contact resistance between a terminal and a connection member, and between the terminal and an electrode group. SOLUTION: The battery includes a battery case, an electrode group having a first electrode and housed in the battery case, a first terminal electrically connected to the first electrode and exposed to an outside of the battery case, a first fixture electrically connecting the first terminal to the first electrode, and a corrosion preventing member which provides an electrical path from the first terminal to the first fixture and directly contacting with the first terminal and the first fixture, respectively.
