PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition with the excellent balance of physical properties and specific gravity, usable in various applications to automobile interior and exterior articles, domestic electronic appliance parts, office equipment parts, etc. SOLUTION: The resin composition includes a talc powder in a resin. The talc powder is obtained by dry grinding and/or classifying talc ore. The half width of the twelfth-order diffraction peak in orientation evaluation in the wide angle X-ray diffraction method of the talc ore is≥1 to≤30 degrees. The median diameter D50(L) of the talc powder measured by the laser diffraction method according to JIS R1629 is≥2.0 to≤9.4μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
