PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spring load of a diaphragm spring from being easily changed from the outside of a pressure reducing valve, the pressure reducing valve being constituted so that the diaphragm spring which develops a spring force to energize a diaphragm to the side of decreasing the capacity of a pressure acting chamber facing one surface of a diaphragm connected to the valve body of a valve mechanism is provided between a diaphragm cover and the diaphragm so that the spring load can be adjusted. SOLUTION: A diaphragm cover 22 in which an adjustment screw 86 having an engagement convex section 85 is fit and supported by a diaphragm rod 68 connected to the central part of a diaphragm 16, and the adjustment screw 86 is screwed into a spring receiving 87 stored in a spring chamber 82 by making its movement in the axial direction possible while making its rotation around the axial line which is coaxial as the rotary axial line of the adjustment screw 86 impossible, and a diaphragm spring 83 as a coil spring is arranged so as to be contracted between the adjustment screw 86 and a spring receiving member 87 is provided with a tool insertion hole 88 closed with a cap 89, oppositely to the engagement convex section 85.
