PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that when a plurality of IC cards (B-CAS card) are used in one receiving device, a difference is generated between the presence/absence of a contract for each card, and therefore, there is a possibility that the behavior of specific data broadcasting or the display of an automatic display message existing or not differs, thereby making it hard for a user to understand the behavior of the receiving device and making its use inconvenient, that when any of the plurality of IC cards (B-CAS card) breaks down, a case can be supposed where the behavior of the receiving device differs according to the kind of the broken-down card or the presence/absence of the contract, and also in this case, making it hard for a user to understand the behavior of the receiving device and to identify the cause, and that a use method that does not observe a temporary viewing period intended by broadcasting providers is promoted.
