A device for a throttle body for a carburetor is configured so that the throttle body can be used for both a control device for a mechanical governor and a control device for an electronic governor, and as a result, the cost of the throttle body is reduced. An air intake path (12) for an engine comprises an air cleaner (1), a carburetor (2), a first heat insulator (3), and an air supply pipe (4) for the engine, and a bracket (5) for mounting thereon a step motor (7) for opening and closing the throttle valve (6) of the carburetor (2) is provided to any one of adjacent portions of the components forming the air intake path (12).
