<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article, eliminating the time and trouble for separating and discarding a releasing paper, achieving favorable fitting performance in use, and decreasing the time and trouble for deployment. <P>SOLUTION: In this absorptive article 1 used by fixing an outer surface of a back sheet to an adherend, the outer surface of a front surface sheet is provided with gathers along the longitudinal direction of an absorptive body 10. In the outer surface of the back sheet, an adhesive part T to which a pressure sensitive adhesive is applied and a surface lubricant part S treated to be released are alternately formed in one area and in the other area with a longitudinal central area interposed between them. The absorptive body 10 is folded into two with the back sheet inside in the non-use state, so that the adhesive part T of one area and the surface lubricant part S of the other area are bonded opposite to each other.
