TONER HOPPER, DEVELOPING DEVICE, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner hopper capable of detecting whether a cartridge is new or old stably by a simple configuration, and to provide a developing device, a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: The toner hopper includes a rotation drive body S being a toner stirring member and/or a toner conveying member driven by rotational motive power from an image forming apparatus 1. The toner hopper includes an operation mechanism 23 for operating a new hopper detecting mechanism 50 arranged at the image forming apparatus side. The operation mechanism 23 performs action for operating the new hopper detecting mechanism 50 by the drive of the rotational driving body S.
