<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which can obtain an image showing excellent light resistance, high sensitivity and high density, and an image forming method using the sheet and a printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet includes at least a cyan dye layer formed on a base sheet. The dye contained in the cyan dye layer is at least one kind selected from a group composed of chemical compounds represented by a formula (1), a formula (2), etc. Furthermore, in the formula (1) and the formula (2), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are the same or mutually-different functional groups and represent a substituted or a non-substituted alkyl group, a substituted or a non-substituted cycloalkyl group or a substituted or a non-substituted aralkyl group; R<SP>3</SP>represents a substituted or a non-substituted alkoxycarbonyl group, a substituted or a non-substituted alkylaminocarbonyl group, a substituted or a non-substituted alkoxy group, etc., a heterocyclic group, a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; R<SP>4</SP>represents a substituted or a non-substituted alkyl group, a substituted or a non-substituted alkoxy group, a substituted or a non-substituted alkylcarbonylamino group, etc. or a halogen atom; R<SP>5</SP>represents CONHR<SP>6</SP>, SO<SB>2</SB>NHR<SP>6</SP>, etc. or a halogen atom; R<SP>6</SP>represents a substituted or a non-substituted alkyl group, a substituted or a non-substituted cycloalkyl group, a substituted or a non-substituted aryl group, etc.; R<SP>8</SP>represents a substituted or a non-substituted alkyl group; X represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
