PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that the technique for damping the acoustic energy of engine intake sound of automobiles by causing an resonator attached to an automobile suction pipe formed by blow molding of a thermoplastic resin to resonate within a resonation box of the resonator essentially requires the resonator attached to the suction pipe. SOLUTION: The problem is overcome by inserting a sound absorbing material formed in a predetermined shape preliminarily into one cavity surface of a split mold for blow molding as a molding insert, suspending a half-molten resin body of a thermoplastic resin inside the split mold and clamping the mold and blowing compressed air into between the half-molten resin body and the sound absorbing material to produce an automobile suction pipe.
