PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a clear image even in observing the anterior part of an insertion portion and also in observing the lateral part with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A hand half mirror 13 is mounted via a support rod 12 on a holder cylinder 11 to be fitted to the distal end hard part 2c of the insertion portion 2. The half mirror 13 includes a between-transmission-shielding change member 14. When illumination light to be irradiated from an illumination window 4 is divided into reflection light and transmission light by the half mirror 13, change is performed between a translucent state for transmitting the transmission light of the half mirror 13 and a shielding state for shielding the transmission light. When an anterior image is obtained by an observation window 5, the translucent state is adopted. When a lateral image is obtained, the shielding state is adopted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
