PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type screw driver driving a screw, and fastening it in by rotation. SOLUTION: A rotary gear 94 is rotatably supported to a main housing 21 in the main housing 21 and under a cylinder 6 by a bearing 94A fixed to the main housing 21. The rotary gear 94 rotates by transmitting torque from a winding gear 93A by meshing with the winding gear 93A. A passing hole 94a engaging with a peripheral surface of a rod part 62 while allowing the passing of the rod part 62, is formed in the rotational center of the rotary gear 94. Since the rod part 62 is engaged with the passing hole 94a when the rod part 62 passes through the passing hole 94a, a torque of the rotary gear 94 is transmitted to the rod part 62.
