<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type display device control circuit in which a refresh rate of a scanning type display device is improved and transmission bandwidth of an LED drive can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The scanning type display device control circuit is suitable for receiving continued frame data and driving a light-emitting diode (LED) display device in accordance with the frame data. The scanning type display device control circuit includes a pin-pon-buffer, a data storage controller, a line scanning controller, a display buffer, and a scrambled-pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generator, wherein the display device control circuit can prevent a large amount of data from being transmitted repeatedly by using frame data cyclically and repeatedly. Therefore, bandwidth for inputting data can be largely reduced. Also, the scrambled-pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generator can scramble a PWM signal of a long period to a plurality of scrambled PWM signal of a short period. Therefore, the refresh rate can be raised efficiently without changing the bandwidth for inputting data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
