PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display information retrieval system for enabling a user to retrieve his or her desired display information without inputting retrieval conditions by a display device which includes a nonvolatile display part since a display device which includes the nonvolatile display part is unsuitable for the retrieval of display information by inputting retrieval conditions such as a retrieval word.

SOLUTION: A user is able to make a display device 100 retrieve display information by using a portable telephone 50, and make the display device 100 or the portable telephone 50 display the list of display information being the retrieval results.
