PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffolding member for a storage tank improving safety and convenience and adapted also to new law regulation in a scaffolding of temporary bracket structure directly mounted to a side plate wall surface of the storage tank. SOLUTION: The scaffolding member for the storage tank is constructed by erecting a post 9 on a rod projected from the tip upper part of a bracket 6 of the scaffolding of temporary bracket structure directly stuck and mounted to the side plate wall surface, and mounting socket-like receiving members 12, 13, 14 used as adapters for inserting vertical members extended vertically downward from respective horizontal members such as a handrail 15, a middle rail 16 and a baseboard 17 at respective suitable parts near the upper end, middle part and lower end of the post 9.
