PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prop building device of a laver culture prop, minimizing stress given to a hull when driving a laver culture prop, and pulling out and collecting a built laver culture prop. SOLUTION: This prop building device includes a support stand 12 fixed to a bow edge F of a ship S, a movable prop 14 set on the upper surface of the support stand 12 in a risable fallable manner, a long length cylindrical body pole 16 attached to the end of the movable prop 14 so as to nearly perpendicularly cross the movable prop 14, a long length arm 18 attached to the rear end of the body pole 16 and operated to move toward the body pole 16, a clamp part 20 of an opening closing type, set on the rear end of the arm 18 and pinching a laver culture prop P, an end guide part 22 of an opening closing type, set on the end of the body pole 16 and guiding the movement direction of the laver culture prop P, and a rear end guide part 24 set on the rear end of the body pole 16 and guiding the movement direction of the laver culture prop P.
