PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod support device which can prevent the backlash of an attachable/detachable fit portion in a fishing rod support portion. SOLUTION: The fishing rod support device has a head portion 15a for detachably tightening and fixing a fishing rod, a receiving portion 15 for detachably receiving the head portion 15a, engaging means for disengageably engaging the head portion 15a with the receiving portion 15, and a notch 82 constituting backlash-preventing means for preventing the backlash of the head portion 15a on the basis of the receiving portion 15 while the head portion 15a is engaged with the receiving portion 15 with the engaging means.
