Disclosed are a recording medium with a multi-track media file recorded therein, a method for reproducing the multi-track media file, and a media apparatus. A multi-track media file of the present invention comprises a data unit having a configuration in which frames of a second media file are coupled to the respective frames of a first media file; and a header unit which indicates information on the total number of frames of the frame unit, wherein frame header units for indicating media file track information on each of frames and size information on each of frames are combined to each of frames of the first media file and each of frames of the second media file. A method for reproducing thus-configured multi-track media file according to the present invention comprises decoding data of each frame of the first media file to generate a first audio signal and simultaneously decoding data of each frame of the second media file to generate a second audio signal; and mixing the first audio signal and the second audio signal to output a mixed audio signal. According to the present invention, a plurality of media files contained in a single multi-track media file can be simultaneously or selectively reproduced.
