The multi-media system has a central arithmetic unit (1), a display unit (2) and an operating arrangement. The display unit is provided with a unit (5) that is formed to evaluate an operation of input fields (6,7,8) for controlling a device (4) for haptic feedback. The unit is also provided for producing control signals to the device. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing of a haptic feedback in a multimedia system.
