<p>Disclosed is a corrosive environment detection sensor for concrete rebars which exhibits high detection sensitivity and which does not adversely affect the strength, durability or proof stress of concrete structures. The corrosion sensor is installed in a position adjacent to rebars within reinforced concrete and can detect corrosion factors which penetrate near the rebars before said factors reach the rebars. The corrosion sensor, which detects environments corrosive to rebars within reinforced concrete structures, is equipped with: a detection unit which detects conditions where corrosion factors which cause rebar corrosion have penetrated the concrete, and outputs data indicating the penetration status of the corrosion factors; a sensor cladding which covers the sensor and prevents the penetration of corrosion factors; and a sensor external cover having enough strength so that the proof stress of the concrete structure in which the sensor is installed is not reduced.</p> |
