PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device in which a long target conveyed while being supported along a conveyance passage, is in a state that the target is surely stretched along the conveyance passage. SOLUTION: The recording device includes: a platen 28 for supporting a long continuous form 12 along the conveyance passage extending along the longitudinal direction of the continuous form 12; a recording head 36 for performing a recording process on the continuous form 12 supported by the platen 28; a first driving roller 25a around which the continuous form 12 is wrapped at a position near the upstream end of the platen 28 in the conveyance passage; a second driving roller 33a around which the continuous form 12 is wrapped at a position near the downstream end of the platen 28 in the conveyance passage; a first conveyance motor for driving the first driving roller 25a through rotation amount control; and a second driving motor for driving the second driving roller 33a through torque control.
