PURPOSE: A method for preparing a lithium ion polymer battery is provided to prevent a phenomenon that the electrolyte is present at the sealed portion when the battery cell is sealed by impregnating electrolytes simultaneously and settling down the electrolytes inside the battery cell through the activation of a battery cell. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a lithium ion polymer battery is characterized that a battery cell including a negative electrode, a positive electrode, and a separator are immersed in an electrolytic bath to allow electrolyte to be impregnated to the interior of the battery cell. The electrolyte impregnation occurs in a state in which the entirety of the negative electrode, the positive electrode, and the separator of the battery cell is immersed in the electrolyte.
