PURPOSE: A wireless power transmission apparatus and a method thereof are provided to perform wireless power transmission only through a wireless power transmission device and a wireless power reception device. CONSTITUTION: A wireless power reception unit(200) is installed in a power consumption device(400), and receives a wireless power signal from a wireless power transmission unit through magnetic resonance manner. The wireless power transmission unit provides a connected power consumption device with the received wireless power signal. The wireless power reception unit sends back a residual wireless power signal which is not consumed in a non-connected power consumption device to the wireless power transmission unit.
