PURPOSE: A continuously variable automatic transmission is provided to improve durability and reduce transmission shock since torque is transmitted by the eddy action of a brake. CONSTITUTION: A casing(10) is hollow and covers various structures. The power of an engine is transmitted to an input shaft(20) and is shaft-installed on one side of the casing for free rotation. An input rotary plate(30) is axis-connected to the input shaft into the shape of a disk. A planet gear assembly(40) is axis-connected to the end of the input shaft in order to be driven with a sun gear(41). An output shaft(70) is connected to a fixing carrier(44) by a fixing pin.
