PURPOSE: A mast support and elevation device of a top-down lift is provided to prevent the malfunction of a cylinder by preventing the applying of overload to the cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A mast support and elevation device of a top-down lift comprises a base, a cylinder(20), a prop(30) and a support(40). The base is installed on ground. The cylinder comprises a rod(21) and is combined in the base a hinge. A hinge piece(32) is perpendicularly projected and supports a horizontal bar of a mast(M). The support is installed on the base. The upper end of the support supports the prop.
