PURPOSE: An anti-oxidization apparatus for welding copper tubes of an air-conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to improve welding efficiency by controlling the supply and cut-off of anti-oxidization gas through wireless communication. CONSTITUTION: An anti-oxidization apparatus for welding copper tubes of an air-conditioner comprises a housing(100), a gas supply pipe, a gas distribution pipe(300), a control unit(400), and a remote controller(500). The gas supply pipe has a coupling(210) on an end thereof to be connected to a gas container(G) which is filled with anti-oxidization gas while the other end is installed inside the internal space(110) of the housing and equipped with a high-pressure cutoff switch(220) and a check valve(240). The gas distribution pipe comprises first and second distribution pipes(300a,300b) with first and second electronic control valves(310a,310b) to selectively discharge anti-oxidization gas to the outside of the housing. The control unit is installed inside the housing and controls the high-pressure cutoff switch and the first and second electronic control valves. The remote controller implements short-distance wireless communication with the control unit.
