PURPOSE: An UPnP control point based on UPnP, an UPnP device, and a method for connecting a device using the same are provided to limit a connection of a specific device through a firewall function by using a set file about a connection denial and access permission on an UPnP network. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(104) transmits a service connection request signal through a communication unit. The control unit receives a service existing checking signal and a service connection response signal from a UPnP device corresponding to the service connection request signal. The control unit analyzes a set of a memory unit. The control unit determines whether to allow access to a UPnP device which transmits an service connection response signal. According to a determining result of the control unit, an interface unit(103) performs connection with the UPnP device.
