Process for securing the communicatin of a digital file through a communication network

A Process for downloading a file (D1) from a server to an Information Handling System (IHS) comprising a set of hardware and software components operated by an Operating System (OS) through drivers;
Said process involving the steps of:
- initiating of a system detection procedure for the purpose of gathering data from said components through said drivers and reported to said OS;
- generating a system description file from part or whole of the information collected from said system detection procedure;
- encrypting part or whole of said system description file in order to generate a Authentication Digital Signature (ADS); The process is characterized in that it further involves the steps of:
- using said Authentication Digital Signature (ADS) for deriving an encryption /decryption key (K1);
- using said key for encrypting a file to be downloaded or for decrypting an encrypted file being downloaded.
