A liquid extraction suction cleaner has a temporary suction interrupt or disruptor, such as controllably openable hole 188 in a fluid conduit 69", which can be opened so as to temporarily reduce suction, therefore increasing the dwell time of a cleaning fluid in a surface to be cleaned. In this manner a user may control and vary the amount of cleaning fluid going into a surface being cleaned, depending on variable need. |
