<p>The system has a wood support elements (14, 16) e.g. table cross rods, arranged between carrier elements (10, 12) e.g. table legs, and orthogonal to the carrier elements. Metal clamping elements (18) e.g. table clamping rings, are arranged parallel to the support elements and arranged around the carrier elements. The carrier, support and clamping elements are connected with each other such that one of the carrier, support and clamping elements effect a spring force on the system and the system is locked by movement of the carrier, support and clamping elements against each other.
