An industrial automated painting system with a color changer device (1) for connecting a number of lines (3) of selectable liquids with an applicator, wherein each of said lines is provided with a controllable valve (4) for connecting the line to the applicator, and said device comprises a control unit (7) for generating control signals (10) for actuating said controllable valves. The controllable valves are adapted with sensing means (5) for sensing the state of said controllable valves and adapted to communicate (11) said valve state to said control unit and said control unit is configured to detect error states of said controllable valves based on the sensed states and generated control signals for actuating the controllable valves. |
