PURPOSE: A harness for enhancing the portability of a camera is provided to applied to various kinds of cameras of various structures since it is installed in a camera body or is coupled to a case, in which the operating unit of the top of the camera and a front lens are open. CONSTITUTION: A harness(100) for enhancing the portability of a camera comprises an automatic winding unit, a body, and a coupling unit. If a wound strap is loosen, the automatic winding unit applies tension to the strap to automatically wind the strap. The body holds the automatic winding unit. The body comprises an outlet, through which the free end of the strap is externally exposed. The coupling unit is installed on the body to connect the body to a camera. The automatic winding unit comprises a support shaft, a rotating roller(14), and a spring. The support shaft is fixed to the central part of the body. The rotating roller is rotatably coupled to the support shaft, and the fixed end of the strap is wound on the rotating roller.
