PURPOSE: A method for processing a wasted printed circuit board is provided to suppress the release of toxic gas into the air by collecting gas generated in a carbonization process. CONSTITUTION: A wasted printed circuit board is pulverized. A substrate does not combusted and is carbonized under the atmosphere in which the metal material of the substrate is not oxidized. Carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and brome in the resin component of the substrate are reduced and separated from the substrate. Magnetic materials and non-magnetic materials are separated from the substrate.
