PURPOSE: An insulation panel and an insulation panel assembly for a liquefied gas carrying tank are provided to improve strength by installing reinforcing members having different elastic modulus on an insulation panel at right angle. CONSTITUTION: An insulation panel assembly for a liquefied gas carrying tank comprises a body portion, a first groove part(12) and a second groove part(24). The body portion is composed of an adiabatic material and is polygonal shape. The first groove part is inserted in one side] of the upper end of the body portion. The second groove part is widely inserted in the other side of the upper end of the body portion than the first groove part.
