Problem: The present invention relates to an information recording method for recording content supplied by a content server onto an optical disc or other recording medium. Means of Solution: When recording additional content on a medium on which a title including a plurality of files is already recorded, the additional content being provided by a content server, the information recording method according to the present invention designates, to the content server, the content to be added, transmits disc package information to the content server, the disc package information including unique IDs for identifying files constituting the title already recorded on the medium and the title, receives those of the files constituting the titles of a new disc package, generated in the content server on the basis of the disc package information, including the additional content to be recorded, that have been updated with respect to the files constituting the title already recorded on the medium, and records the updated files on the medium. |
