<p>The invention describes a holding flange (4) for an electric machine, in particular for a starter of an internal combustion engine, wherein the holding flange (4) is formed as an insulating part which is produced partially from an electrically insulating material or which has an insulating part arranged on the holding flange (4). To ensure that an electric machine, which is fastened to an internal combustion engine by means of a holding flange, is reliably electrically insulated with respect to said internal combustion engine over the entire service life, the insulating part of the holding flange (4) is extended with a cap (8) over an outer surface of a bearing shield (1) of a bearing of the electric machine.</p> |
