PURPOSE: A capacitor is provided to prevent the electric leakage between terminals by forming a barrier rip on an insulating plate to make the dielectric distance between electrodes wider. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor includes an electrode assembly(110), a can(120), an insulating plate(130), an insulating gasket(140), and an electrode pin(150). The capacitor also includes an electrode terminal(160), a rivet packing(170), and a press board(180). The electrode assembly includes a first electrode(111), a second plate(112), and an insulator(113). The can has an opening in one side to accommodate the electrode assembly. The insulator includes a closed plate and the barrier rip.
