PURPOSE: A high-resolution interpolation method and a device thereof using high synthesis based on clustering are provided to generate a high-resolution block by using synthesis information by searching high-resolution synthesis information which is suitable about each input low-resolution block from a dictionary. CONSTITUTION: A high-resolution interpolation method is comprised as follows: a step of establishing an initial training set, a step of reducing the established initial training set, a step of synthesizing with a low-resolution patch which is inputted by choosing an optimum high-resolution patch in the reduce training set.
